U/Spydirmonki: “I was engaged to a girl with two kids from a previous marriage. For the four years we were together, I had help support and raise them, while loving and providing for her mom. They began calling me Dad after the first year…She started cheating on me…she kicked me out when I found out. My protests…were met with the statement ‘you’re not now, and never have been they’re real father’.

Fast forward two months, and she’d missed a LOT of work due to long, d—— escapades with her new boy toy. Her boss finally had enough and told her if she didn’t get to her job in 20 minutes he’d fire her. She calls me up…promising reconciliation if I would watch the boys for her that day. Because the three of them ‘needed’ me. I told her ‘Why? I’m not now, nor have I ever been their father.’ And hung up on her.”
